Moving to Barcelona

Hello internet!

I haven’t posted in a few weeks as I have recently moved to Barcelona (from England) and I am still getting settled in. I’m going to be living here for a year - WOW!

Although I am loving life here so far, there are some things I already miss about home. One of them being the accessibility of healthy foods in our supermarkets back in England. Here in Barcelona it’s hard to find ‘simple’ foods such as almond nuts, chia seeds and even porridge in general supermarkets! It was  a bit of a culture shock at first but now that I’m getting used, I want (and need) to start eating a lot healthier.

Those of you who have lived alone will know how hard it can be to eat healthy, for just one person, on a tight budget - let alone in a completely new country!

If anyone has any great recipes they can recommend, I’d really appreciate it if you could send them over to me! FYI anything with chicken and avocado would be FANTASTIC.

2. Running can benefit society! The proceeds from many races go to charities, and who wouldn’t want to run for something bigger than themselves? It’s a win win.
